Brief Introduction: This research aims to delineate a comprehensive relationship between Physics and Metaphysics. Main questions are how Metaphysics influenced the development of Physics in the past, is there any idea in Metaphysics that Physics can exploit, and how Quantum Physics is being conducive to Metaphysics nowadays. Concerning Mind as a metaphysical entity, it will also enquire into how quantum physics can contribute (is contributing) to the investigation upon phenomenal nature of consciousness.

M.A. Dissertation: Overcoming Hard Problem of Consciousness Discipline: Philosophy of Consciousness Thesis Mentor: – Prof. Dr. Geeta Ramana Other Committee Members: Assoc. Prof. Priya M. Vaidya, Assoc. Prof. Archana Malik Goure Thesis defended date: 2018, April 25
Abstract: In this dissertation paper, I propounded seven thesis statements through a thought experiment, which I called Quantum Ghost Argument, in order to overcome the so called Chalmers’ hard problem. Reducing consciousness to meaning, the conclusive claim is — to be conscious of something is nothing more than being able to attribute meaning to that thing. Phenomenal consciousness appears to be obscure, as we cannot attribute meaning to its contents, solely because of our inadequate comprehension of proper semantics underlying language of human thought.
